The Get SET (Skills, Education and Training) program helps adults in Ontario to develop and apply communication, numeracy, interpersonal and digital skills to achieve their goals.

This program helps learners reach the goals of:

• • employment
  • apprenticeship
  • secondary school credit
  • post-secondary education
  • independence

This includes learners who have various barriers to learning.

This training is based on the following nine Skills for Success:

• 1. Adaptability
  2. Collaboration
  3. Communication
  4. Creativity and innovation
  5. Digital
  6. Numeracy
  7. Problem-solving
  8. Reading
  9. Writing

Learners may advance their skills by studying an occupational curriculum for a specific employment position (e.g. Warehouse Worker, Retail Associate, etc.) or upgrading general Skills for Success.
